Deliberative Scenarios

These deliberative scenarios provide educators and students with an introduction to the process of democratic deliberation using contemporary ethical questions related to topics addressed by the Bioethics Commission.

Each set of materials includes a scenario that presents an ethically challenging situation, a companion for teachers to facilitate the deliberation, and a guide to classroom deliberation to be used by both students and teachers.

The Guides to Deliberation provide professionals, instructors, and students with a condensed overview of how to conduct democratic deliberation.
