Dr. Amy Gutmann participated in the Nuffield Council on Bioethic's 2015 public lecture, “In conversation with Amy Gutmann.” Dr. Gutmann reflected on the role of the Commission, challenges for bioethics in education and society more widely, the concept of deliberative democracy, and discussed recently published work, including the Commission’s reports on neuroscience, and on the ethical issues around public health interventions in the context of the Ebola epidemic.
