The Bioethics Commission is at the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities (ASBH) 14th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. October 18-21. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Representing Bioethics.” Between staff, Members, and advisors, the Commission will be represented at several different sessions at ASBH.
For example, on Friday, October 19 at 8 a.m. Executive Director Lisa M. Lee, Associate Director Kayte Spector-Bagdady, Senior Advisor Paul Lombardo and ASBH Board Member Jason Schwartz will present “Responsible Stewardship: The Role of National Commission in Shaping the Public Discourse of Bioethics.”
And on Saturday, October 20 at 8 a.m. Commission Vice Chair James Wagner, Associate Director Michelle Groman, former Senior Advisor Jeremy Sugarman and International Research Panel Member Sergio Litewka will offer “Moral Science: Protecting Participants in Human Subjects Research.”
